Find A Local Group

ONIWG is made up of a network of local injured worker groups in communities throughout Ontario. Our local groups provide many forms of support for injured workers in their communities;

  • A chance to meet other people who are going through the same difficulties and challenges, and providing peer support for one another;
  • Education about what is happening in the compensation system, and what we can do together to fight for a just system;
  • Information about how to navigate the workers’ compensation system

While some local groups meet in person, others hold online meetings, so you can connect with a group even if there isn’t one close to you. To find a local injured workers group in your area, look through the list below, or contact the ONIWG executive at Exec@oniwg.ca. The events page may also tell you about online or in person meetings accessible to you [link to events calendar]. If there is no local group in your area, get in touch with us and we can help you start one or connect you to an online group!
